Roland Iten pieces are one hundred percent Swiss made and are entirely developed, manufactured, and assembled by our new manufacturing partner, Montanari S.A., based in Saint-Imier in Switzerland’s Jura Mountains.

Montanari S.A. manufactures precision mechanical parts for the machine and watchmaking industries, the medical sector and aeronautics, and in fact, the production of Roland Iten pieces follows the same methodologies that are applied to the fabrication of a fine Swiss timepiece.

Roland Iten S.A. merged its prototyping and small-series manufacturing workshop with Montanari S.A. in January 2019.

This move enables Roland Iten to create a more diverse series of buckles and more bespoke pieces, and consolidates his efforts on the design and engineering of future creations for years to come.

For Montanari S.A., the partnership has brought new savoir-faire to the process of manufacturing high-end luxury products from A-Z.

The first collection to be launched since the new partnership is the R18 Superdriver mechanical belt buckle.

Servicing

Your finely crafted original ROLAND ITEN creation carries an individual serial number which provides a record of both origin and authenticity. It is made and tested to meet the traditional watchmaking standards of Switzerland and the quality standards of Montanari SA.

Throughout the world, ROLAND ITEN provides you — and its approved dealers — with its International After Sales Service.

If your piece is in need of servicing, please send us a Service Request and we will instruct you on how to safely return your piece for to us for any technical, mechanical or aesthetic refurbishment.

After Sales Service

Your ROLAND ITEN creation is guaranteed for an unlimited period against any manufacturing defect, under the following condition:

Any part found by our technical service to be defective as a result of a manufacturing fault will be replaced free of charge by Montanari SA.

THE ROLAND ITEN INTERNATIONAL GUARANTEE does not cover:

Damage resulting from accidents, mishandling or abusive use (knocks, dents, crushing, etc.)

Unauthorised alteration, manipulation or repair.

The consequences of the normal wear and tear of ageing. The labour cost of any repair will be charged, whether or not the replacement parts were supplied under the terms of the Guarantee.

The leather ceinture strap and/or other leather accessories.

The wood and leather display box.
